With Elisabeth Whitefield as CEO, Abilia continues its growth journey with the ambition to reach more users and customers in more markets. The focus is on strengthening the company's international presence while further developing and reinforcing its strong market position in established markets.

Elisabeth Whitefield has assumed the role of CEO at a time when Abilia continues to develop innovative solutions that enhance independence, participation in everyday life, and inclusion in society. Together with the organisation, she will lead the company's continued development, guided by Abilia's clear purpose: to contribute to a more inclusive society where more people can live independently and participate on their own terms.

"Abilia has built a successful business with a clear purpose and a leading position in assistive technology and welfare technology. Elisabeth's experience and leadership make her well equipped to build on that foundation and lead the company's continued development," says Anders Dahlberg, Chairman of the Board of Abilia.

Elisabeth brings extensive leadership experience with a strong international and commercial background. She also has experience from organisations supporting people with disabilities. Most recently, she served as Vice President at Gunnebo Safe Storage.

"What attracted me to Abilia is the combination of an important social mission, strong values, and a very exciting future. The company has built an impressive platform for continued growth and a strong position across several markets. I look forward to continuing to develop Abilia together with our employees, customers and partners, and making our solutions available to even more people," says Elisabeth Whitefield.

Elisabeth succeeds Tove Christiansson, who left the company earlier this year to pursue a new opportunity outside Abilia.
